Joint Beach Cleanup with Sarah Connor for Marine Conservation at Timmendorfer Strand
Thursday, September 11, 2025 | 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Timmendorfer Strand – On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the Iberian Orca Guardians Foundation, the Captain Paul Watson Foundation, and Bracenet invite you to join a beach cleanup at Timmendorfer Strand ahead of Sarah Connor’s concert.
Under the motto “Together for Marine Conservation”, the organizations are joining forces to raise awareness of the increasing pollution of oceans and coastlines. “With this cleanup, we want to show that marine conservation starts small – every piece of trash collected is a win for nature,” say the organizers.
Everyone is warmly invited to take part in the cleanup:
Meeting point: In front of the new pier at Timmendorfer Strand
Time: Thursday, September 11, 2025, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
What to bring: Optional gloves, weather-appropriate clothing.
Bracenet will provide grabbers and gloves, and will also organize a trash-weighing event. The collected waste will be weighed, and attractive prizes will be raffled among all participants.
Special highlight: Sarah Connor, co-founder of the Iberian Orca Guardians, will be present in person.
